The short film ‘Back to the Earth’ is a combination of live-action and animation. Depicting simple yet delightful earthly experiences in a dreamy and childlike, yet spiritual atmosphere was my goal in making this film.

Norouz is a time of joy, renewal, and togetherness—celebrating the beauty of nature and the hope for a bright future.
Haft-Seen (meaning “Seven S’s” in Persian) is a symbolic table setting prepared for Norouz. It includes seven items that start with the Persian letter “S,” each representing a blessing for the new year.

 An old painting from the Shahnameh comes to life ! This animation shows the Simorgh taking baby Zaal to her nest. Shahnameh, this timeless tale, is one of my favorite books, especially the story of Zaal.
